Lincoln got a pair of Spider-man pajamas for his birthday and those pajamas created a little monster! He now has to have pj's that are "cool", yes he does use that word. He wouldn't wear his old ones anymore without a fight. I decided to go out and buy a few more pairs of "cool" ones to make night time easier on me! He gets so excited about them. I now can't get him out of them! Do kids really start voicing their opinions this young about their fashion likes and dislikes? Oh my! Well, I must say Lincoln sure looked adorable in his "cool" Lightening McQueen pj's tonight!

Tiger Baskeball...
Saturday night we enjoyed some great friends and great basketball at the Fedex Forum while the Tigers beat Fairfield 90-63! Ash, Lincoln and I were invited by our great friends, Trey & Brenda, to their suite at the Forum. It was so much fun. Lincoln had a blast watching the game and running around with his new little buddy, Trevor. Ash got to watch the game and watch the Alabama/MSU game on the tv and I enjoyed watching the game and chatting with the girls! It was a great night with great friends! I didn't take my camera to the game, I know bad mama! But I did manage to get one picture of Lincoln with my camera phone, the picture quality isn't that great, but you can still tell he was enjoying the game!

Thanks again, Trey & Brenda!

Another hair cut...
Lincoln got his second hair cut last night! I don't think Heidi realize just what was in store for her when she came to cut it! He would not sit still. He knew from that first snip just what she was here to do! We bribed him with everything from yogurt to popsicles ...even popsicles for each hand! He wasn't buying it! We did our best to distract him for her to get it done. We cut some in his bed, some in the kitchen, and some in the den. There was hair everywhere, but we got it done! And he looks really adorable! I love his new hair cut, but its definitely shorter than last time, so it really looks like a big boy cut which is what I wanted and he needed, its just so hard to look at him and not see a baby anymore! :( He's definitely a big boy now! Thank you, Heidi!

Have I mentioned, I love the FALL...
Today was another beautiful fall day. The temperature has really started dropping and if you aren't in the sun, it can really be quite chilly! The colors of the leaves outside are just gorgeous. I catch myself wanting to drive around longer when we are in the car, just to see the colors! Or I can just walk outside, the trees in our neighborhood are quite amazing, too! Here are a few pictures I took outside today.

The weather was so nice, that Lincoln and I decided to head to the park for awhile to catch some fresh air and run around! Unfortunately I think Shelby County schools must have been out today because there were kids everywhere ...and it was mostly bigger kids and they just seemed to run all over the little ones! :( So, we didn't stay as long as we would have liked! I did manage to get a few good pictures in though before they ran us off! Lincoln had the best time on the slides as usual.

Beautiful Fall Day...
Wow, what a beautiful day it is today! The weather is amazing! This is my time of year for sure! I love the breeze, the beautiful colors and the sound of the leaves! Lincoln loves it too! He can run around and not be miserable hot!

We had a great time playing with his basketball and then the soccer ball. It felt amazing out there! Lincoln is getting really good with the soccer ball and with the basketball. He knows to kick his soccer ball and he is really good at controlling it. He plays catch and tackle with the basketball...and he tackles hard!

And then late this afternoon our friend, Jen, came by to see us! She was introduced to sidewalk chalk! I think she really enjoyed it ...and she can draw a pretty good truck, I must say! Might have to get her some! Thanks for coming to play, Jen!

Hotel Slumber Party...
Crystal and the kids came over to our hotel on Saturday night so the kids could play some more. It gave Crystal and I some time to visit and relax and the kids could play, jump on the bed and watch movies together! It was a great time! It ended up becoming a slumber party. It got really late and the kids wanted to spend the night, so we all piled in together. I love those kids of slumber parties. Lincoln was in heaven when he got to sleep between me and Evan ....more hair for him to twirl. Crystal and I were laughing Sunday morning because he was sound to sleep twirling my hair with one hand and Evan's with the other.

Another sports filled weekend...
This past weekend the kids had two soccer games and Ethan also had his last baseball tournament. Saturday mornings soccer game was great as usual. The kids played well and had a great time. It was nice having all the kids together, Lincoln loves watching them play soccer. And Evan always amazes me at how tough she is ...she can hang right in there with the boys! Crystal, Kevin and I watched the game and Ash was busy teaching Lincoln some of his old soccer moves.

Ethan played in his last baseball tournament. He decided that he didn't want to play it anymore and wants to try karate for awhile. Their last game was a tournament that could have played four times on Sunday, if they kept winning, unfortunately they didn't play all four, but they did win twice. They played some really tough teams and did a great job!

Lincoln loves watching the kids. When he wasn't playing with Ash and Evan he was watching the game!

Evan also enjoyed eating snacks and playing with her good friend, Kendell.

Trick-or-treat 2008
Trick-or-treating was a blast and the kids looked adorable! Not only did the kids have fun, but so did the adults! We had Spiderman, a Cheerleader and Darth Vadar with us! They all looked adorable!

We decided this year to try Trick-or-treating on Main Street. It was great. All the stores were open and passing out candy.

The street was blocked off so the kids could participate in games.

After Main Street we went to see Cindy and then to see Wendy, Sulton, Amira & Alyia at their houses. They had a party in their cove, which was so much fun.

We all had such a wonderful night, looking forward to next year together!
