Ganny, Ethan & Evan in town for a visit...

I'm playing catch-up because I'm so VERY far behind on blogging!

The kids and Ganny came into town in Mid August! Gosh, I'm so behind on blogging! We had a great time! The kids kept me busy for sure! On Sunday after they got into town on Saturday, we had their pictures taken by Jessica at 503 Photography! She was awesome and she took some amazing pictures of the kids and then some of us as a family! :) Here are some of the pictures from our photo session with Jessica Cudzilo...

I love having them here! Wish they were here all the time! Here is the fun that goes on at Aunt Shanna & Uncle Ash's...

Riding bikes, water fights, painting, boxing in the den ...fun times!!!

While they were here we made a day trip to the Botanic Gardens & to the spray park in Collierville! They had a blast at both!!! The weather was great!

"Be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it all..."

Tonight was the Daughtry concert!  Yay!  We had an awesome time!  It was a great night for Ash and I and a group of friends!  AND OF COURSE ...didn't get even one picture of us together! :(  I know Jen took one of Ben and I & I took one of her and Ben ...but not Ash and me!  We had so much fun though, pictures or no pictures!  And Jen & I even said we were going to get a picture of all 4 of us! :(  Didn't happen!  Next time for sure though!

We had a fantastic time!  It was my first time to see a concert at Minglewood!  If you haven' t been yet, you must go!  We had a VIP suite, so we really had it made, but it's a great show no matter where you are standing in there!

It was my first night out with Ben & Jen in a LONG, LONG while and we were so overdue, but now I'm ready for a night in with them ....where I can here them when we talk!  haha!!

We also went to our coffee shoe for some coffee & hookahs afterwards!!! Fun times!!!  I guess since I plugged Minglewood for them, I should plug Oasis for us!  haha!  It was Ben & Jen's first time!  I know the grape leaves appetizer was a sure hit!  haha, right Jen!

Well, its super late and I have no idea why or how I'm still awake, so I best turn in!  Goodnight...

Nashville mini-vacation...

Ash had to go to Nashville this past weekend for a conference, so Lincoln and I tagged along!  Lincoln LOVES hotel rooms!  He gets so excited every time we check into one!  Is that bad? :)

Nashville was alot of fun!  We stayed at The Opryland Hotel and loved every minute of it!  Three atriums full of flowers, waterfalls, boat rides, restaurants and shopping, what's not to love!  I of course ...took lots of pictures!! :)

We got there really late Friday night and Lincoln didn't make it long in the car before falling asleep and sleeping almost all the way to Nashville!

The view from our room balcony at night!

Hotel pictures...

On Saturday, we took Lincoln to Opry Mills mall.  We were there with the other 10,000 people doing their back to school shopping ...oh my, it was packed!

We went to Build-A-Bear for the first time!  We've walked through one before, but Lincoln didn't seem interested in it at the time.  This visit he enjoyed!  Lincoln made Mr. Panda!

On our last day there before heading home, we took a ride on the boat tour through the Delta Atrium at the hotel!  We really enjoyed ourselves!  It was a great ending to our weekend in Nashville!

Happy Birthday Sedo...

Sedo's birthday was last week!  It was in the middle of the week and with Sitty, Suzy and Samia out of town, we couldn't really do a party.  Instead Lincoln and I took him a cake to the coffee shop and celebrated with him!  I think he had a wonderful time!  He just lights up when he is with Lincoln and he loves going to see Sedo at the coffee shop!

Lincoln picked out his birthday cake, we went with a Transformers cake!  Ha!  Nothing like a Optimus Prime birthday cake for a man in his 60's! :)  Fun times!!!

It was Sedo's birthday, but he had a gift for Lincoln!  It was a styrofoam airplane ...Lincoln had the best time with that plane!  Of course, the plane didn't last long because Lincoln played way too rough with it, but after a little black tape it lasted a little longer!  And brought so many smiles!!!

Watching Sedo make coffee with his "imaginary binoculars!"  Funny, funny kid!
