Beautiful Fall Day...

Wow, what a beautiful day it is today! The weather is amazing! This is my time of year for sure! I love the breeze, the beautiful colors and the sound of the leaves! Lincoln loves it too! He can run around and not be miserable hot!

We had a great time playing with his basketball and then the soccer ball. It felt amazing out there! Lincoln is getting really good with the soccer ball and with the basketball. He knows to kick his soccer ball and he is really good at controlling it. He plays catch and tackle with the basketball...and he tackles hard!

And then late this afternoon our friend, Jen, came by to see us! She was introduced to sidewalk chalk! I think she really enjoyed it ...and she can draw a pretty good truck, I must say! Might have to get her some! Thanks for coming to play, Jen!

Hotel Slumber Party...

Crystal and the kids came over to our hotel on Saturday night so the kids could play some more. It gave Crystal and I some time to visit and relax and the kids could play, jump on the bed and watch movies together! It was a great time! It ended up becoming a slumber party. It got really late and the kids wanted to spend the night, so we all piled in together. I love those kids of slumber parties. Lincoln was in heaven when he got to sleep between me and Evan ....more hair for him to twirl. Crystal and I were laughing Sunday morning because he was sound to sleep twirling my hair with one hand and Evan's with the other.

Another sports filled weekend...

This past weekend the kids had two soccer games and Ethan also had his last baseball tournament. Saturday mornings soccer game was great as usual. The kids played well and had a great time. It was nice having all the kids together, Lincoln loves watching them play soccer. And Evan always amazes me at how tough she is ...she can hang right in there with the boys! Crystal, Kevin and I watched the game and Ash was busy teaching Lincoln some of his old soccer moves.

Ethan played in his last baseball tournament. He decided that he didn't want to play it anymore and wants to try karate for awhile. Their last game was a tournament that could have played four times on Sunday, if they kept winning, unfortunately they didn't play all four, but they did win twice. They played some really tough teams and did a great job!

Lincoln loves watching the kids. When he wasn't playing with Ash and Evan he was watching the game!

Evan also enjoyed eating snacks and playing with her good friend, Kendell.

Trick-or-treat 2008

Trick-or-treating was a blast and the kids looked adorable! Not only did the kids have fun, but so did the adults! We had Spiderman, a Cheerleader and Darth Vadar with us! They all looked adorable!

We decided this year to try Trick-or-treating on Main Street. It was great. All the stores were open and passing out candy.

The street was blocked off so the kids could participate in games.

After Main Street we went to see Cindy and then to see Wendy, Sulton, Amira & Alyia at their houses. They had a party in their cove, which was so much fun.

We all had such a wonderful night, looking forward to next year together!

Pumpkin Picking...

Thursday
We had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch with Crystal, Ethan & Evan. Lincoln kept running around yelling ..."Pumpkins, pumpkins!" Although it sounded more like, "pummins, pummins!" It's adorable! He was so excited! The pumpkin patch we went to is great. We went there last year and had so much fun. It has tons of pumpkins, a hay-ride, a play area, a hay maze, a corn maze and tons of great places to take pictures! Unfortunately my child was not in the picture taking mood! I think its part of being 2! He doesn't want to pose anymore for my shots, most of what I seem to get are action shots these days! But I think you can see from what I did get, that the kids had a blast!

Lincoln walked through the corn maze like he was as big as Ethan & Evan. I think that if I was 2 I would be slightly intimidated by those tall corn stalks ...but not him! He walked through with his flashlight like a big boy! It was so cute!!!! We never made it to the end though. We walked through forever and finally had to go out the entrance! ha! We tried!

Horsing Around...

WEDNESDAY
Lincoln had another great day in the country. He loves the horse and spent hours on it again today! He's been saying YeeHaw for awhile now when he jumps on his bed at home, but it was more fitting when he was yelling it on the horse this afternoon! I want to figure out how to get his horse home with us on the plane! ha! He probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if it was at home though. I think there is just something more exciting about it being on the porch here!

He enjoyed the tent some more today as well! He was enjoying the breeze coming in through the tents back door. He could see the dog next door through it too and he loved to tell it "shhhh" when it started barking!

I think his favorite part of today was going to get the mail! He rode to the mailbox in style ...in a wheel-barrow! Talk about a first! Papa rode him around the front yard and Lincoln loved every second of it! He kept saying "Wwweeeeee!" I wonder what our neighbors would say if we did this back at home! You can get away with all the fun things out here!
